Table service at Dave's Foxhead? Never! I mean I'm all for artistic license and all, but Dave's Foxhead won't even serve you a mixed drink if you're not a regular.

Dern, that was the life. I remember that scene, sitting up listening to music up in the attic. After hours parties being assembled at 1:58 outside Dave's Foxhead, and a quick run to Johns's Grocery for cases of $4.99 Dubuque Star. Oh, the Dubuque star. Bumming cigarettes.

Sleeping all day. Hungover. Weekly runs to the thrift store for orange cardigans and K-Tel records. Blowing off papers to write. Working the late shift. Walking around town late at night.
